Product Manager (m/f/d) Squad Finance & Cloud

Under the umbrella of SelectLine Software GmbH, we are developing the next generation of our ERP platform neo in agile squads.

The Finance & Cloud squad is responsible for our core modules accounting, payroll, and accounts receivable/payable – from SelectLine Finance and our SelectLine Cloud products to GDI Accounting.

As a Product Manager, you will take on strategic responsibility for this product portfolio and work closely with the Product Owner Finance & Cloud, who manages operational implementation within the squad.

Responsibilities

• Product responsibility for SelectLine Finance, Cloud products, and GDI Accounting, including roadmap, prioritization, and release planning.
• Develop product vision for Finance & Cloud – close to medium-sized businesses, accounting, and compliance.
• Close collaboration with Product Owner, Development, QA, and Support within the squad.
• Market and competitor analysis, deriving concrete product decisions from it.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., e-invoicing, DATEV connection).
• Represent the product segment to management and stakeholders.
• Shape collaboration between Squad Finance & Cloud and other squads (ERP, CMD, Factory).

Qualifications

• You will take on product responsibility for SelectLine Finance, our SelectLine Cloud products, and GDI Accounting, managing the roadmap, prioritization, and release planning across all three product lines.
• You will develop a clear product vision for the Finance and Cloud area – always close to the needs of our medium-sized customers and the requirements for accounting, payroll, and compliance.
• You will work closely with the Product Owner Finance & Cloud, as well as Development, QA, and Support within the squad, ensuring a continuous flow of value.
• You will analyze the market for accounting and cloud software, monitor competitors, and derive concrete product decisions from it.
• You will ensure that our products – especially the cloud services and GDI Accounting – meet current legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., e-invoicing, DATEV connection).
• You will represent your product segment to management and other stakeholders within the SelectLine Group.
• You will actively shape the collaboration between Squad Finance & Cloud and the other squads (ERP, CMD, Factory).

Benefits

• Several years of experience in product management, ideally in the B2B software environment or in the accounting/ERP sector.
• Good knowledge of financial accounting, payroll, or related topics –
• Experience with cloud products and understanding of the specifics of SaaS business models.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and product discovery techniques.
• Analytical thinking: You can read data, assess market potential, and justify priorities.
• Clear communication – internal and external – and the ability to convince different stakeholders.
• German (fluent, C1+) and solid English skills.
