Product Manager (m/w/d) in Textile Area

The Carstensen Import-Export Handelsgesellschaft mbH is a leading importer of school and office supplies, lifestyle, toy, and textile products. Over 120 colleagues work at our location in Ellerau near Hamburg in a family-like atmosphere with flat hierarchies and short distances. International teams in Bangkok, Shanghai, and Jakarta support us in caring for our customers worldwide.

Tasks

• You are the interface between quality management, Asian offices, and our customers, serving as the central point of contact

• You accompany the product from development to delivery at the customer's site

• The analysis and approval of patterns (prototype, fit sample, PPS, shipment, etc.) are in your hands

• You ensure all production technical processes, timelines, and requirements agreed upon with the purchasing offices in Asia

• You stand by our customers as a consultant for product development and manufacturing

Qualification

• You have a commercial education, completed studies, or relevant work experience in the textile industry

• Flexibility, organizational skills, and passion for developing and working on products with creative know-how and quality awareness set you apart

• You demonstrate self-reliant, structured, and goal-oriented work habits

• In addition, you are confident in handling common MS Office applications

• You communicate confidently in English in both spoken and written form

• Not least, you bring travel readiness with you
