Full Time Lead

Job description

Our Locations

We are looking for you to strengthen our team at one of our locations in Munich, Berlin, Leipzig, Hanover, or – if you are a suitable candidate – working from home.

Your Future Team

Do you want to contribute your expertise where modern hospital software is created? Then you are in the right place with us. As a Product Manager with a focus on outpatient and inpatient hospital billing, you will be part of an agile team of Product Managers, Software Developers, UI/UX Designers, and Testers. Together, you will shape an innovative billing solution for our hospital information system M-KIS, considering real hospital processes, legal requirements, and the needs of our users. The role is particularly well-suited for you if you come from hospital billing, medical controlling, IT healthcare consulting, or the product management of a software provider and are eager to rethink billing digitally. Your experienced team members and your team lead will support you during your onboarding, give you scope for development, and promote your professional and personal growth in a meaningful environment.

What awaits you with us

  • You will take on a central role in the new development of our billing solution for outpatient and inpatient hospital services.
  • You will develop modules and functions related to hospital billing (DRG, PEPP, PIA, financial accounting interfaces, as well as data communication according to § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V).
  • You will capture, structure, and evaluate technical, functional, and legal requirements for our software solution.
  • You will translate complex billing processes from hospitals, medical controlling, and patient management into clear product requirements and prioritizable features.
  • You will shape the product strategy with a special focus on billing-relevant processes, regulatory developments, and the digitalization of administrative hospital workflows.
  • You will present and discuss these software solutions with our users, customers, and partners in the context of pilot projects or trade fairs.

These are your strengths & skills

  • You have in-depth experience in outpatient and inpatient hospital billing – for example, from a hospital, medical controlling, patient management, consulting, or product management.
  • You are familiar with billing-relevant procedures and topics such as DRG, PEPP, PIA, health insurer communication, financial accounting interfaces, as well as § 301, § 302, and § 304 SGB V.
  • You understand hospital processes and can translate requirements from billing, medical controlling, and administration into digital solutions.
  • You have a high affinity for IT and are enthusiastic about actively shaping hospital software and digital processes in healthcare.
  • You enjoy working conceptually, analyze processes in a structured manner, and can clearly articulate complex topics.
  • You communicate confidently with various stakeholders – from users in hospitals to development, consulting, and sales.
  • Very good German language skills (C1) complete your profile.

What we offer

  • Meaningful products and projects for the digitalization of the healthcare system.
  • Mobile working up to 3 days per week and sabbaticals.
  • Bicycle leasing and subsidy for public transport.
  • Subsidies for fitness (EGYM Wellpass) and health offerings, including sports promotion.
  • Subsidy for childcare (depending on the country).
  • Structured onboarding and personal mentoring.
  • Internal Meierhofer Academy and individual further training.
