Production Planner (m/w/d)
Job description
Our client, a subsidiary of one of the world's leading companies in the construction supply industry (~130 employees), is building the center for the establishment of a new business area.
This publicly listed company places high value on its roots as a family-owned business and has been led by the founder's family to this day.

Tasks
- Planning and controlling production workflows in a continuous operation, taking into account capacities, volume flows, and delivery dates.
- Ensuring smooth communication between production, sales, and logistics, as well as implementing customer orders into the production planning.
- Closely working with R&D regarding the scheduling of tests, sample productions, and new product developments into ongoing manufacturing.
- Analyzing production capacities, raw material availability, and personnel requirements for optimal utilization of facilities.
- Using ERP systems to create and maintain production plans and evaluate key performance indicators; participating in ERP transformation to S4/Hana.
- Data analysis and reporting of KPIs: creating production statistics, utilization reports, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ongoing improvement of the production planning process through identifying bottlenecks and optimizing planning processes in collaboration with production, sales, and logistics.
Qualification
- Completed commercial or technical education with a focus on production planning or supply chain management; ideally supplemented by a degree.
- Multiple years of experience in production planning for a continuous operation.
- In-depth knowledge of volume flow and capacity planning, as well as coordinating complex production processes.
- Affinity to IT and secure handling of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Analytical skills for evaluating production data and deriving optimization measures.
- Communication strength and team ability for collaboration with sales, manufacturing, and R&D.
- Structured work style, resilience, and decision-making confidence in a dynamic environment.
- Good English language skills.
