Production Planner / Manufacturing Planner (m/w/d)

Tasks

  • Planning and control of production processes taking into account quality and productivity standards as well as the necessary resources and materials
  • Prioritization and adjustment of production sequences to meet delivery dates
  • Monitoring system data on raw materials, machine utilization, and procurement processes to ensure material availability
  • Analysis of production key figures to evaluate production results and derive planning parameters
  • Development and implementation of a stock policy to supply the company's economic goals
  • Monitoring ongoing production processes and identifying deviations from plan, followed by introduction of correction or re-planning measures
  • Conducting daily production control and documentation for inventory management
  • Creating and evaluating reports and key figures to ensure goal achievement and necessary measures
  • Participation in budget planning for the department as well as cost monitoring and searching for efficiency improvements

Qualification

  • Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Alternatively, a degree as a mechanical engineer or a comparable qualification with relevant work experience in production and/or manufacturing technology
  • Experience in production planning, process optimization, and the application of common methods in production planning in the production environment, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Fundamental knowledge in production planning and control as well as inventory management
  • Safe handling of MRP systems as well as very good MS-Office skills
  • High leadership and team skills, excellent communication strength, and structured and solution-oriented work style
  • Good English skills (spoken and written)
