Production Manager

We are a traditional company in the plastics industry. At our location in Rudolstadt, we manufacture high-quality plastic compounds for various industries.

Duties

Production Control: Planning, organization, and monitoring of all daily production, mixing, and compounding processes to ensure timely delivery.

Team Leadership: Disciplinary and technical leadership, motivation, and planning of the production team in a multi-shift operation.

Process Optimization: Continuous development of extrusion and processing equipment to increase efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Quality & Safety: Ensuring and controlling all statutory regulations, work safety guidelines (e.g., handling hazardous substances) as well as quality standards.

Resource Management: Efficient use of raw materials (polymers, additives, fillers), machines, and personnel for the production department.

Interface Work: Close cooperation with the departments Purchasing, Sales, Logistics, management, and our customers.

Qualification

Qualification: Completed technical studies (e.g., plastics technology, process engineering, engineering) or a master's/technical training (e.g., industrial master of plastics/rubber).

Professional Experience: Advantageous are several years of comprehensive experience in a leading position within production, preferably in compounding or plastic processing.
