Product Developer (m/f/d)

• You analyze market opportunities, observe industry trends and customer needs, and develop innovative product ideas for our baby sleep products and apparel from these.
• You accompany the entire product development process from the initial idea to series production, create technical product concepts, optimize patterns and size charts, and develop solutions for high-quality, durable, and product-safe processing.
• You coordinate the development and sampling of new products, evaluate prototypes, and derive optimizations regarding function, quality, fit, and user experience from them.
• You work closely with international suppliers, coordinate technical requirements, and accompany the implementation of new product concepts until they are ready for production.
• You ensure that our products meet the highest quality and safety requirements, develop testing concepts, and oversee internal and external quality and safety tests.
• You analyze legal and normative requirements, evaluate new product ideas regarding product safety and sustainability, and derive concrete development requirements from them.
• You coordinate relevant certifications and proofs, especially GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, and other product-specific standards.
• You analyze customer feedback, reasons for returns, and complaints and use the insights gained for the continuous further development of our products.
• You work closely with the Product Management, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain departments and ensure smooth information flow along the entire development process.

• a degree in textile/apparel technology, product development, or a comparable qualification
• at least three years of practical experience in product development, textile technology, or quality management of textile products
• a good feel for product details, materials, processing techniques, and customer needs
• knowledge of relevant legal and normative requirements, and ideally experience with product safety and certifications
• confident use of common design programs (Illustrator, Photoshop) as well as MS Office
• very good written and spoken German and English skills
