Product Developer (m/w/d) in Research & Development.

Tasks

• Independent production of products in laboratory quantities, according to given recipes and instructions
• Processing of internal projects, e.g. raw material exchange, recipe modification
• Development of skin care products from concept to market launch
• Operating laboratory equipment (e.g. weighing, mixing, homogenizing) while considering quality-, GMP-, safety- and business-related aspects
• Filling and packaging of raw materials
• Filling the produced cosmetics into containers as samples, testing for stability and functionality
• Cleaning machines and work materials
• Measuring pH values, viscosities, density determinations
• Documented recipe data in our ERP system
• Evaluation and documentation of stability tests

Qualification

• Qualified laboratory training as a chemist:in, baker:in, confectioner:in or similar, or completed studies in the field of cosmetics, chemistry, food, pharmacy or similar.
• Techical understanding for independent operation of complex production machines
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking, as well as good English language skills (at least B2)
• Application knowledge in handling Microsoft Office
• Careful and meticulous working style
• High willingness to work, reliability and team spirit
• Prior knowledge of rheology is advantageous but not a must
