Together with our client, an established development and production company in the Dresden region, we are filling the position for permanent employment*

​ Product Development/Design*

Develop products. Understand customers. Design for series production.

You will develop sophisticated electromechanical components from the initial idea to a series-ready solution. In doing so, you will combine your own design work with technical customer clarification, project coordination, and product validation.

We are looking for someone who is not just a pure designer or a classic project manager. You will take on technical responsibility for significant parts of the entire development process – from the customer inquiry and product idea to the tested, series-ready component.

Tasks

• Development and design of sophisticated electromechanical components
• Transfer of technical requirements into feasible and manufacturing-ready product solutions
• Accompanying products from conception through testing and series launch to further development
• Coordination of technical issues with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• Coordination of your own development packages regarding quality, deadlines, and technical implementation
• Planning and evaluation of suitable product tests, as well as derivation of improvement measures
• Creation of technical documents required for development and product realization
• Participation in preliminary developments and new product ideas

Qualifications

• Technical degree, technician qualification, or comparable qualification with a focus on design or product development
• Several years of experience in the development of technically sophisticated series products
• Practical experience in the design of electromechanical assemblies for mechanical engineering
• Proficient use of a 3D CAD system (Inventor or Solid Works)
• Understanding of design for manufacturing and industrial production processes
• Experience in technical specification, testing, or validation of products
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong communication skills in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
• German language skills from C1 and English language skills from B1
