Tasks

• Development and optimization of plastic packaging, articles, and assemblies, taking into account technical, economic, and qualitative requirements

• Creation and presentation of innovative packaging concepts for national and international customers

• Planning, control, and implementation of development and product projects

• Responsibility for meeting deadline, cost, and quality targets

• Management and supervision of projects across multiple national and international production sites

• Coordination of all project-related activities and alignment with internal departments

• Technical interface to customers, suppliers, and external development partners

• Monitoring of project progress regarding processes, functions, deadlines, and budgets

• Conducting technical feasibility assessments and supporting the series production transfer of new products

Profile

• Completed training in plastics technology, toolmaking, or a comparable technical field

• Further qualification as a master craftsman, technician, or completed degree (Bachelor) in a technical field

• Several years of professional experience in plastics processing, ideally in plastic injection molding

• Good knowledge of CAE and CAD systems

• Proficient English skills for collaboration with international customers and suppliers

• Experience in product development and project management environments

• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working

• Strong organizational skills and a high sense of responsibility

• Assertiveness, resilience, and decisiveness

• Strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external contacts

• Ability to prepare and effectively communicate complex technical correlations in an understandable way

• Team orientation, commitment, and high quality orientation
