Product Developer & Product Manager (m/w/d)

Bergmensch is a growing premium lifestyle and textile brand with a focus on quality, design, and thorough product development. We develop products with substance – from the first idea to the finished product. To strengthen our core team, we are looking for a Product Developer & Product Manager (m/w/d), who takes responsibility and strategically and operationally drives forward our collections.

Aufgaben

Your role

You will take on a central key position between design, development, suppliers, and management. You will accompany our products comprehensively – from the idea to market readiness.

Your tasks

Product Development

• Development of new products and collections (textile & possibly non-textile)
• Creation of technical drawings, tech packs, and product details
• Selection and evaluation of materials, fabrics, colors, and additives
• Testing of samples, lab dips, prints, and production prototypes
• Tight cooperation with design & external partners

Product Management

• Steering the entire product development process (timings, quality, costs)
• Communication and coordination with suppliers & producers
• Codetermination for product strategy, assortment structure & further development of existing products
• Ensuring quality, brand fit, and profitability

Qualification

• Degree or equivalent training in the field of Textile/Mode Design, Clothing Technology, Product Management, or similar
• Multiple years of experience in product development and/or product management (textile/fashion advantageous)
• Very good understanding of materials, cuts, colors, and production processes
• Structured, self-responsible working style
• Communication strength and confident appearance towards suppliers
• Very good German or English language skills
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm to actively shape a brand
