Product Manager (m/w/d)

VLITEX develops and markets textile Brandschutzlösungen with a focus on Lithium-Ion-Akkubrände. This includes, in particular, Brandbegrenzungsdecken for vehicles, industrial applications, fire departments, as well as safety solutions for storage, transport, and handling of batteries and devices with lithium-ion batteries. Our products make an important contribution to safety in mobility, industry, and public infrastructure.

Tasks

• Responsibility for the entire product lifecycle – from market analysis to development to market introduction and further development
• Identification of new market potential and product ideas in the area of Lithium-Ion-Brandschutz
• Planning and control of product launches as well as maintenance of existing product lines
• Definition of clear product requirements (PRDs including product certifications)
• Creation of product positioning, argumentation guidelines, and technical documentation
• Competition and market observation, as well as derivation of strategic measures
• Implementation of KPI tracking, performance analysis, and data-based optimization
• Closely working with sales and marketing

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, technology or comparable qualification
• Experience in product management, ideally in the field of technical textiles
• Structured, analytical working style and developed organizational talent
• Communication strength and ability to convey complex content in a clear manner
• Very good German and good English skills
