Product & Customer Manager (m/f/d) – Software for the Energy Industry

envago GmbH from Leipzig develops software for grid and metering point operators. With envago.EAST, we digitize meter reading, including AI-supported meter reading recognition and a reading portal for end customers. envago.WEST maps device processes such as meter replacement. Our customers are companies in the energy industry that rely on functioning processes. That's why it's important to us that our software does exactly what the customer needs in everyday life.

Your Role

You are the interface between our customers and our software. You know our products as well as a user and test new features before they go to the customer. Exactly this product knowledge makes you credible in discussions with existing and new customers.

Your Tasks

Product & Test

- You technically test new features and releases from our customers' perspective and approve them.

- You create structured test scenarios and test cases and document the results.

- You describe bugs and suggestions for improvement in a way that our development team can work with them.

- You contribute customer requirements and feedback to the further development of the products.

Customer & Sales

- You support our existing customers as a permanent contact person: from application questions to the further development of the collaboration.

- You win new customers. This includes product presentations, offers, and negotiations.

- You present envago at trade fairs and customer appointments (up to approx. 12 travel days per year).

Your Profile

- You have several years of professional experience in customer service, sales, or product management, ideally with B2B software.

- You don't need to be able to program, but you have a good technical understanding. You want to understand how software works and how customers use it.

- You work carefully and systematically. You notice errors that others miss.

- You present yourself confidently and reliably to customers and enjoy negotiating.

- Knowledge of the energy industry (grid operation, metering point operation, meter management) is an advantage.

- You speak German fluently.

- You possess a Class B driver's license.
