Product Expert (m/f/d)

We are a car dealership with six locations around Munich and more than 400 employees, successfully representing the BMW, MINI, and Kia brands. It feels like we've been around forever (since 1963). But that doesn't stop us from thinking ahead: modern buildings, always the latest technology. And of course, fantastic vehicles from three popular car brands. Many colleagues have been with us for a long time, which naturally makes us very happy. To ensure it stays that way, there are many extras. We want everyone to feel comfortable with us.

First off: this is the best job we have here (our product experts claim). You will advise customers on the new purchase of a BMW and know the models like no other; with the engine options, interior fittings, paint colors, and so on.

An interested party comes into the dealership, you, as the product expert, welcome them and first create a feel-good atmosphere. You show the models, answer questions, and gauge (as far as possible) which model might be suitable. Perhaps you go for a test drive.

Once the decision is made, the salesperson configures the car together with the customer. And then: when the new car arrives and the customer picks it up.

Often a very nice moment when you realize how much he or she was looking forward to it.
You prepare this special moment: with a red ribbon around the car, a bottle of wine… Do you have your own ideas? We'd love to hear them. Then comes the technical briefing, so that the customer leaves us happy in the end.

Sometimes challenging: when prospects suddenly show up without an appointment, new vehicles arrive at the same time, a customer wants the navigation system explained for the fourth time. It's great if you take this with humor. If it's a bit slower, you take care of the showroom: Is everything presentable? Are the awards on the cars placed correctly? Here we need your eye for detail.

Is there also a BMW i7? Of course. It's possible that you will then train your colleagues once you have acquired the knowledge about the new model.

And otherwise? Sometimes we organize events for our customers – a golf tournament, a dinner, or something similar. You and your colleagues make the preparations.

Also important: We occasionally shoot videos about new models, which are uploaded to YouTube & Social Media and also sent to customers. For this, you compile all the facts, the shoot itself takes about two hours. Don't be afraid of the video technology, we have professionals in-house.

• You have completed an apprenticeship as an automotive sales assistant (Automobilkaufmann/frau) or a commercial apprenticeship.
• Has the automotive world been your second home for a few years now? Very good.
• You regularly acquire knowledge about new models – via newsletter, YouTube, etc. No one stands over you, no one controls you, you have free rein.
• You're not afraid to get your hands dirty sometimes, for example, you'll quickly sweep the showroom if necessary. Is that a matter of course for you? We're pleased to hear it. Sounds like you'd fit in with us.
• You absolutely need a driver's license (Class B): for test drives and so on…

• So that you can get to know the new models really well, you occasionally take a demo car and try it out.
