Job Description

Robust accommodation in the field is crucial for the deployability of the Defense organization. We are looking for a new colleague who directly contributes to this robust accommodation for our personnel and equipment.

You will be responsible for the expert level of complex technical documentation and material structures in SAP. This lays the foundation for large-scale market inquiries for semi-permanent infrastructure and shelters, and accessories. Furthermore, you will participate in tenders, sometimes worth tens of millions, for which you are responsible for the technical aspect. Your work ensures that our military personnel can be safely and functionally housed under all weather conditions worldwide.

Within this role, you will specifically work for the Tents & Field Reinforcement cluster. This organizational unit manages the logistical flow of materiel that is crucial for setting up and equipping operational camps (compounds). The assortment ranges from direct consumables, such as the tents themselves, to the essential spare parts needed for maintenance in the field. Within the materiel logistics process, the cluster is responsible for these resources from A to Z. This includes, among other things, setting standards, defining maintenance and supply regulations, inventory management, documentation, configuration management, and managing the entire supply chain.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

●You manage, structure, and validate complex technical documentation for accommodation materiel.

●You are responsible for preparing input and system plans, and processing these plans in SAP, such as entering and preparing periodic maintenance plans, parts lists, and configurations.

●You monitor data quality in close consultation with stakeholders and procurement.

●You will contribute to tenders, focusing specifically on the technical aspect.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements: Who are you?

  • Have completed an HBO (Bachelor's) degree, or have completed an MBO4 (Associate's) degree and are willing to demonstrate HBO work and thinking level through a capacity test.
  • You have a strong technical background and are willing to delve into SAP.
  • You think in chains of links, know how to get things done, and dare to make decisions.
  • You are proactive, communicative, and prefer personal contact with stakeholders and suppliers over sending frequent emails.
  • You enjoy working independently within a team of professionals, dare to ask critical questions constructively, and are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them.

Motivation Instruction: Write a standard motivation letter, with the motivation partly focused on the specific Tents & Field Reinforcement cluster.
