Production/Process Engineer/Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Production department, including 2K production and Mixing operations, ensuring effective organization of people, equipment and resources.
• Ensure achievement of production targets in line with the agreed production plan, customer priorities and site objectives.
• Manage and develop the Production team, providing clear direction, setting priorities, monitoring performance and ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation.
• Monitor daily production performance and take timely action on issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure all production activities are performed in compliance with company'sstandards, procedures, quality requirements, ISO requirements, HSE, Fire Safety, Emergency Response and Environmental requirements.
• Lead the investigation of production and process issues using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methods and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
• Review and analyze OEE, downtime, production losses, rejects and other operational KPIs, defining and driving actions to improve operational performance.
• Ensure the required quality of finished and semi-finished products and work closely with Quality to reduce defects, deviations and recurring non-conformities.
• Ensure production procedures, work instructions, standard work and process documentation are maintained, implemented and followed within the department.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to the Production team in resolving process, equipment and product-related issues.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain and Safety to ensure effective cross-functional coordination and resolution of operational issues.
• Lead or support production trials, industrialization activities and Management of Change (MOC) processes related to equipment, materials, process parameters and production methods.
• Ensure effective management of the Mixing area, including process continuity, technical capability, operational discipline and appropriate backup within the team.
• Develop the skills and capabilities of production personnel through coaching, training, standardization and performance follow-up.
• Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement, operational discipline and accountability within the Production department.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field such as Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, with relevant responsibility for production operations.
• Proven experience in leading or coordinating production teams and managing day-to-day shopfloor activities.
• Strong hands-on understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes and industrial equipment.
• Experience in troubleshooting production or process issues and applying root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify performance losses and translate findings into practical improvement actions.
• Good understanding of OEE, downtime analysis, productivity, capacity and production performance management.
• Strong leadership, planning, organization and prioritization skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good level of English – minimum B2 level
• SAP knowledge is considered an advantage.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5 Why, RCA, Kaizen, MOC or other Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence tools is considered an advantage.
• Experience with mixing, batching or chemical manufacturing processes is considered an advantage.
