Production/Operations Manager - Cape Town

RPO Recruitment is actively seeking a driven and experienced Production/Operations Manager to join our client’s team in Epping Industrial, Cape Town. Responsibilities Oversee daily production operations and manage product flow; Ensure optimal utilisation of resources, including equipment, personnel, and materials; Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results; Identify and mitigate risks that may impact production schedules or quality; Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and quality control metrics. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Production/Operations Manager; Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies; Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
