Production Test Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Production Test Engineer, you actively contribute to the technical performance of our production test systems for Flash and SmartCard memory products. You ensure that our test systems run stably and efficiently in series production. You combine your know-how in hardware, electronics, and system-level software to analyze errors holistically and implement sustainable solutions. For new or scaled test solutions, you work closely with R&D and ensure a robust transfer to series production.

• You manage and optimize our production test systems with a focus on test hardware, electronics, and system-level software.
• You analyze and resolve malfunctions in test systems, clearly differentiating between product, process, and system causes.
• You analyze test failures, retest and yield issues, identify technical loss drivers, and derive sustainable improvement measures.
• You adapt existing test hardware, electronic assemblies, smaller PCB designs, and production-related test software to new requirements.
• You ensure the technical performance of existing test systems throughout their lifecycle and strategically develop them further in response to changing production requirements.
• You support the transfer of newly developed or scaled test solutions from R&D to series production and ensure their robust integration into series operation.
• You work closely with R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and other interfaces and maintain technical documentation.

• You have a completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
• You possess good knowledge of electronics, electronic measurement technology, and test systems.
• You have experience in troubleshooting and analyzing electronic assemblies, ideally in a production or test environment.
• You are familiar with PCB design tools such as Eagle, Siemens Expedition, or comparable applications.
• You have programming skills, ideally in C/C++, as well as basic knowledge of SQL.
• You work analytically, structured, and hands-on, and communicate fluent German and proficiently in English.
