Production Systems Co-ordinator

Full Time 100000.00 - 100000.00

Job description

We are looking for a Production Systems Coordinator who enjoys bringing order to complexity. Someone who spots when the numbers do not add up, asks the right questions and follows an issue through until it is properly resolved.

Behind every product is someone keeping the details straight. Production may look like the fun part, but behind every batch sits a mountain of production data, inventory movements, reporting and paperwork that needs to be accurate.

This is a varied role within a busy food manufacturing site. You will work closely with Production, Logistics, Planning, Quality and Health and Safety, helping the wider team trust the information they use every day.

What you will be doing
You will become the go-to person for accurate production information, system reconciliation and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Reconciling daily production records, inventory movements and consumption data across multiple systems
  • Investigating stock variances, missing information and system discrepancies
  • Preparing accurate daily, weekly and monthly production reports and KPIs
  • Maintaining and improving reporting tools, including Power BI or similar platforms
  • Supporting inventory accuracy for ingredients, packaging and finished goods
  • Monitoring consumables and stationery and raising purchase orders when required
  • Creating and maintaining production forms, SOPs and work instructions
  • Supporting non-conformance and root cause investigations
  • Coordinating contractor records, site inductions and permit documentation
  • Maintaining Health and Safety records, reporting and corrective actions
  • Helping keep site administration, filing and communications organised and up to date
What we are looking for
You may already be working in production administration, inventory control, planning, reporting or systems coordination within a manufacturing environment. More importantly, you are someone who cannot simply ignore a number that looks wrong!!

You will bring:
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence working with ERP, production and reporting systems
  • Experience reconciling production, consumption or inventory information
  • Good Excel skills, with Power BI experience an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • The ability to investigate discrepancies and work logically towards the cause
  • Confidence following up incomplete or incorrect information
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle several priorities
  • Clear communication skills and a practical, cooperative working style
  • Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar production environment would be valuable
Why consider this opportunity?
This role offers far more than routine administration. You will sit close to the heart of the operation, working with multiple teams and helping improve how information moves through the site.

If you enjoy solving problems, improving systems and turning messy information into something accurate and useful, this could be your kind of role.
And yes, working in this factory does come with a certain amount of bragging rights.

Apply today with your CV and tell us why this opportunity has caught your attention.
