Production Supervisor - Plastics Manufacturing

Description RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our client's team in the Plastics Manufacturing industry. Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic products, known for their innovation and commitment to quality. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production processes in the plastics manufacturing facility. You will be tasked with ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are maintained, and all safety regulations are adhered to. Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling. * Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety guidelines. * Identify and resolve production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. * Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to improve production processes and equipment reliability. * Ensure that all production activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. * Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. * Prepare and maintain production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). * Promote a positive and productive work environment. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. * Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a plastics manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. * Solid understanding of quality control principles and procedures. * Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. * Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
