Production Supervisor

Responsible for direct supervision of operations in stamping and MIG/MAG welding (medium-sized team of 30 people), ensuring compliance with quality, productivity, and safety standards. Acts on team management, indicator control, and operational problem resolution, focusing on efficiency and continuous improvement.

Our client is a multinational automotive industry company in constant expansion and development. The plant is recognized for its production capacity and engineering focused on innovation, operating with significant representation for the global context.

Currently, they are serving major OEMs with development and supply of metal parts (robust processes of stamping and welding).

Main responsibilities

• Supervise operational teams, ensuring volume and quality in production.
• Manage and develop a medium-sized team of 30 professionals per line of Stamping / Welding.
• Follow indicators like Scrap, Efficiency, Rework, and Performance.
• Audit problems with tools like 8D and process audits.
• Control overtime, hours worked, and staffing according to demand.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements for increased productivity.
• Ensure application of 5S and TPM at workstations.
• Monitor production and maintenance KPIs, proposing corrective actions.
• Verify operational standards and ensure compliance.
• Promote a safe and motivating environment, aligned with EHS guidelines.
• Encourage employee engagement and development.
• Participate in alignment and goal deployment meetings.
• Control operational costs and propose actions to reduce losses.
• Audit internal and external audits, ensuring process compliance.

We are looking for a tactical operational profile, present on the factory floor to effectively accompany and close results of your operation.

This person will have to present competencies like Adaptability, Resilience, Hands-On, and Leadership, as well as:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Intermediate/Advanced English for conversation.
• Experience in automotive industry companies.
• Historical experience in metal conformity process management (Stamping, TIG and MIG MAG welding).
• Mastery of Core Tools (MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP) and problem-solving analysis tools.
