Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for assuring that the department is operated safely, efficiently and that the output meets the customer requirements. The Production Supervisor provides the leadership necessary to implement and sustain a culture of continuous improvement through the utilization of lean manufacturing principles. How will you do it? * Supervises and coordinates activities of production personnel in a manufacturing environment. * Ensures adherence to established safety procedures, quality standards, and production schedules. * Monitors and analyzes production data to identify areas for improvement. * Implements and maintains lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency. * Trains and develops production staff on new processes and equipment. * Conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback to employees. * Manages employee relations issues and resolves conflicts. * Collaborates with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to resolve production issues. * Maintains a clean and organized work environment. * Participates in and supports continuous improvement initiatives. * Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * Proven experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Proficiency in using production management software. * Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
