Production Supervisor

Coordinate and administer processes and resources assigned for the manufacturing and/or assembly of finished and semi-finished products.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Non-exhaustive)

• Analyze daily production reports, taking necessary actions to correct deviations that may arise
• Coordinate production activities with all areas
• Plan on a weekly basis and capture overtime hours of personnel under your charge in the payroll system
• Carry out daily planning for your shift to meet production plan and defined objectives
• Ensure the flow of work orders from when they are entered into the system until they are closed and entered into storage, resolving and/or proposing alternatives to identified process restrictions
• Follow up on material supply in each workstation to avoid downtime due to lack of materials
• Inform personnel under your charge about their responsibilities, obligations, and safety and environmental norms to maintain a good work environment.
• Organize and supervise personnel under your charge
• Maintain control of operator work (labor productivity)
• Ensure adequate shift overlap
• Direct and organize production follow-up meetings
• Present daily reports on achievements, as well as identified restrictions to achieve goals
• Communicate and provide feedback to your team of work the plan for the day and daily performance: safety, quality, and productivity
• Verify that your team is operating correctly and that personnel have the necessary tools to perform their work.
