Production Supervisor

Supervise, coordinate, and optimize production operations on site, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, efficiency, and delivery standards, making good use of company systems (SAP, MDC, TRESS, POWER BI).

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Enumerative, not limiting)

• Analyze daily production reports (SAP, POWER BI & MDC), and define necessary actions to achieve objectives and resolve risks that may arise.
  • Coordinate production activities with all areas involved in the process.
  • Plan on a weekly basis and capture daily personnel incidents in the TRESS system.
  • Carry out daily planning for your shift to meet production plan and defined objectives.
  • Ensure order flow from when orders are entered into the system until they are closed and entered into storage, resolving and/or proposing alternative solutions to identified process restrictions.
  • Ensure processes are executed as defined in process deployment sheets.
  • Track material surpluses in each work cell to avoid downtime due to lack of materials.
  • Inform your team about their responsibilities, obligations, and safety and environmental norms for a good working environment.
  • Organize and supervise your team.
  • Train personnel as needed (skills matrix)

  • Ensure adequate shift overlap
  • Direct and organize daily production meetings
  . Active participation in Tier 1, showing control of main production indicators, exposing main risks and opportunities for plan compliance, assuming responsibility for your cells under charge.
  • Communicate and feedback to your work team the daily plan and performance: safety, quality, and productivity
  • Verify that your work team is operating correctly and that personnel have necessary tools to perform their job.
  • Coordinate with maintenance actions needed to control preventive and corrective machinery (filling out cil & correct ticket administration).
  • Conduct interviews for operational staff hiring
  • Comply with company norms, regulations, and code of ethics
  • Knowledge of applicable rules in the organization referring to the current management system
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of the plant in general and your work area, following 6's guidelines.
