Job description
Tayco is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Production Supervisor to join our high performing production team. The Opportunity: The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading, motivating and coaching a team of production workers. He/she is expected to ensure that all production processes are running smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with Tayco's quality standards. This includes planning, organizing, controlling and coordinating the work of the production team to meet customer requirements and expectations. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, motivate and coach a team of production workers to achieve high levels of productivity, efficiency and quality. • Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with Tayco's quality standards. • Plan, organize, control and coordinate the work of the production team to meet customer requirements and expectations. • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs and improve product quality. • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management and Maintenance to ensure that all processes are aligned and working effectively together. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a Production Supervisor who has the following skills and qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels. • Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions and implement process improvements. • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of quality control. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
