Production Planning Manager

Job Description:

Production Planning Manager is responsible for coordinating production planning activities, managing material flows and optimizing inventories, ensuring timely delivery of orders and resource efficiency. The role includes leading the planning team, as well as warehouse and depot functions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates short-term, medium-term, and long-term planning processes
• Develops and implements production plans to ensure maximum efficiency
• Coordinates warehouse activities from an administrative perspective and participates in inventory processes
• Coordinates/develops databases related to inventory management, transportation activities
• Collaborates with procurement, production, and logistics departments to ensure optimal process flow
• Ensures alignment of the production plan with customer demand and production capacity
• Maintains operational performance monitoring and identifies opportunities for process improvement
• Maintains delivery terms
• Analyzes bottlenecks and identifies critical points in the flow
• Manages resources and production capacities to meet production requirements
• Closely collaborates with the production team to ensure timely respect of deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in the field of production planning
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Solid knowledge of production planning and programming
• Able to work under pressure and resolve problems quickly and efficiently
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes in the work environment
