Production Operator

Description of the job

Our production site located in Grâce-Hollogne is designated as one of the group's centers of excellence for women's health, ensuring the manufacture GMP of devices and expertise in quality and regulation from a custom-designed installation.

AbbVie is looking for a Production Operator in a clean room to strengthen our team in place and meet the growing demand for our products.

We offer a first-time fixed-term contract (CDD) of 1 year.

The production tasks are as follows:

1. Mix & Mixture: Manufacturing the mixture and molding the reservoir of the charged hormone-containing steric device. This process is carried out under strict conditions to ensure that each device contains the correct dose.
2. Assembly: Components are assembled in clean rooms to minimize the risk of contamination. Precise assembly is crucial to ensure that the steric device releases the correct amount of hormones.
3. Quality ControlEach product or raw material is subject to rigorous controls to ensure that it meets quality and safety standards. This may include product validation tests, physical inspections, and other technical evaluations (IPC, visual inspections, etc).
4. Packaging: Sterile devices are packaged individually and stored in transport boxes.

Your responsibilities:

• Production: Follow the production schedule. Perform tasks as planned after receiving necessary training. Respect quality standards at each stage of production and perform required controls.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Participate in GMP cleaning activities for facilities and equipment, representing 10% of work, following established procedures.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain integrity among colleagues. Report any shortcomings or bad practices to the Supervisor. Communicate production quantities/rejections to the First Operator at the end of the shift.
• Documentation: Ensure complete documentation and perform end-of-stage reconciliations.
• Incident Management: Collaborate with a level 4 or 5 operator (First Operator) for writing unexpected events reports.

• EHS Culture (Environment, Hygiene, Safety): Apply strict rules of hygiene, documentation, and safety (GMP / GDP / EHS) as well as wearing personal protective equipment (EPI).

• Cost Awareness and Continuous Improvement: Be aware of costs and collaborate to reduce them. Maintain consumables up-to-date and apply 5S principles for housekeeping. Participate in implementing simplification and process improvement projects.
