The Opportunity
We are looking for a Production Manager to command a key production area. You will orchestrate daily production, champion continuous improvement, and develop a high-performing team within a mission-critical technical operation. We seek an expert in production planning and team leadership to drive excellence in our established industry environment.
The Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and direct production strategies, policies and plans to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and control all production activities to ensure quality, safety and compliance with industry standards.
- Formulate budgeting plan for the production based on material usage, machine time, labour, and tooling requirements to ensure all expenses remain within allocated budgets.
- Maintain quality assurance and customer service standards by ensuring accurate daily record-keeping and timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare and deliver insightful reports to the Director, identifying actionable improvements based on production data.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in workflow, productivity, and machine utilisation.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve production processes and enhance product offerings.
Experience & Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of solid experience as Production Manager or in a similar role.
- Meticulous attention to detail ensures high-quality output and seamless processes across all stages of production.
- Excellent leadership with a team-first approach, prioritising effective communication and strong working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to implement and manage quality assurance processes and maintain accurate documentation.
- Understand the need for strong compliance with work health and production safety standards.
