Production Manager

A respected food manufacturing company is seeking a Production Manager to join its KwaZulu-Natal team. This position involves overseeing the production department while maintaining high quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. The Production Manager will lead a team to deliver products that meet quality and cost specifications, ensure the production process operates efficiently, manage raw material usage, foster a culture of safety and accountability, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing effective production plans and schedules; • Coordinating and controlling production activities to ensure timely delivery of products; • Maintaining accurate records of production data, including quality control and inventory management; • Identifying and addressing potential production bottlenecks and inefficiencies; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues; • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Food Technology or related field, 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing, and strong leadership and communication skills.
