Production Manager

Department: Operations / Production Reports to: General Manager About the role Multi-Wing is looking for a Production Manager to take full responsibility for production operations at our plant in La Roca, Catalona, Spain. This is a senior leadership role with a strong focus on production management, quality, operational performance, and financial results , working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, HR, Customer Service, and Finance. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production, meeting production targets, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, execution, and monitoring. * Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality. * Set and monitor production targets, KPIs, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. * Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production employees, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production-related issues. * Identify and implement process improvements, waste reduction initiatives, and cost-saving measures. * Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations. * Manage production budgets and control costs, ensuring profitability and financial targets are met. * Drive a culture of continuous improvement, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a positive work environment. * Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. * Ensure timely and accurate reporting on production performance to senior management. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field. * Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. * Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. * Excellent knowledge of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles. * Experience in implementing process improvements and waste reduction initiatives. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Experience with ERP systems. * Fluent in Spanish and English.
