Production Manager - Mechanical Engineer

Our company is looking for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our client's team in the eastern part of Pretoria, Donkerhoek area. This is an unique opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about both production and maintenance, and wants to have a direct impact on the factory's operations.

Primary Functions:

The main responsibility of this role is the production and facility maintenance management of a mine equipment workshop. You will oversee daily operations and ensure that all machinery, labor, and equipment function optimally to achieve production targets.

Secondary Functions:

• Basic Design: Assist with the design of new components and systems.

• CAD/CAM: Program CNC machines to streamline and expand production processes.

• Expanding Production Capacity: Work on initiatives to increase the factory's production capacity and efficiency.

Vereistes:

• Tertiary engineering qualification (e.g. a B.Eng. or B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering).

• Own transport is necessary.

• The ability to work independently and take charge without constant supervision.

• Must be a strong production personnel manager with the ability to motivate and lead a team.

• A neat and organized work style is crucial for this role.

Vergoeding:

• Salary: R30 000 per month.
