Production Leader - 2nd Shift

Description of the job

• Lead the teams of Café Cru, Torrefação and Moagem (Process area) directing daily activities to ensure that manufacturing operations are executed according to all safety and quality standards.
• Ensure delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly production volumes.
• Ensure coffee bean unloading and storage, guaranteeing execution of stock management processes.
• Care for factory costs related to yield and gas and electricity consumption, acting on projects and routines that ensure reductions in losses.
• Develop your direct team in:
  • Operational activities.
  • MOS-related skills.
  • Behaviors.
• Act as a transformation agent, leveraging safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction in the Process area.
• Perform tests demanded by Coordination and Management related to projects and studies in the area.
• Validate new associates or recently promoted in process operation, considering aspects of safety and quality, as well as other critical points specific to each equipment.
• Evaluate the performance of your direct teams according to the adopted factory system.
• Apply disciplinary measures and perform layoffs when necessary.
• Publish consistent production reports that guide problem-solving.
• Analyze, propose, and implement solutions for problems related to safety, quality, productivity, and costs.
• Co-responsible with Coordination for associate hiring and promotion, as well as consequence policy.
• Support the philosophy and plans of MOS (Continuous Improvement) adopted by the Company, as well as employee training, to achieve objectives.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the workplace and equipment, caring for good manufacturing practices and quality. Correct use of PPEs and safety norms, with commitment and proactive actions within a culture of safety;
• Support Coordination with the planning area in elaborating production plans, aiming to ensure optimal allocation of labor, equipment, and materials;
• Vacation control and electronic clock. Responsible for the performance of your subordinates, providing feedback when necessary.
