Job Description Job Description The Production Subsurface Reliability Engineer is part of the Production Engineering team within the Chevron ENGINE Center and is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of subsurface operations across Chevron’s Shale and Tight (S&T) assets. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize production and mitigate risks associated with the extraction of hydrocarbons from shale and tight formations. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of subsurface operations across Chevron’s S&T assets, including well design, drilling, completion, and production optimization. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for optimizing production and mitigating risks associated with the extraction of hydrocarbons from shale and tight formations. • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including operators, regulators, and other key partners. • Provide technical expertise and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the energy sector and apply this knowledge to optimize production and mitigate risks. • Work closely with the Production Engineering team to develop and implement plans for optimizing production and mitigating risks associated with the extraction of hydrocarbons from shale and tight formations.
