Senior Production Engineer Krakow | Hybrid (2 days from the office, 3 days remote) B2B via Antal ⏰ Full-time Join the team responsible for global payment systems Together with our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to join the Production Support team. You will be working on the maintenance and development of critical systems supporting global payments, inter-system communication, and processes related to sanctions and transaction analysis. This is a role for individuals who thrive in a production environment, enjoy solving complex technical problems, and want to work according to best Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices. Your tasks Ensuring support for production environments and rapid incident resolution. Analyzing the causes of problems (Root Cause Analysis) and implementing preventive actions. Installing and deploying new software versions. Creating and developing automation using Bash, Python, or Java. (strong emphasis on Bash) Supporting tests and deployments of new functionalities. Collaborating with international technical and business teams. Designing and improving processes and implementing new technological solutions. Analyzing system architecture and data to identify problems and optimize platform performance. Actively participating in initiatives related to service development and continuous improvement of the production environment. What we expect? Minimum 5 years of experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. Minimum 5 years of administrative experience in a Linux environment. (strong emphasis) Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes. Very good knowledge of Oracle database architecture. Scripting skills for automation (Bash, Python, or Java). Experience in monitoring system performance and optimizing it. Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps environments. Good understanding of application operation across different infrastructure layers (operating system, network, database, application). Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in critical environments. Very good command of the English language. Nice to have Experience in the payments or banking sector.
