Production Assistant Supervisor

Position Purpose: The Production Assistant Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the production supervisor in the daily operations of the plant. This position will be responsible for the management and monitoring of production activities to ensure that products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Principal Accountabilities: * Assist in the supervision of production employees in all areas of the plant. * Monitor production processes and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality standards. * Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations. * Assist in the training of new employees. * Maintain accurate production records. * Investigate and resolve production problems. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: * Associate's degree or higher in a related field * Prior supervisory experience * Experience with food production processes * Knowledge of HACCP and GMP guidelines
