Job Description
As an Extraction Production Technician, you play a key role in the optimal functioning of the cutting mills used to process raw materials. You will monitor the quality of the knives and intervene where necessary to guarantee efficient production.
During the campaign period (continuous shift system)
• Machine brushing, straightening, and sharpening of knives for the cutting mills.
• Assembling, supporting, and changing knife frames.
• Checking and ensuring the quality of the knives.
• Acting as a first-line technician for breakdowns of the cutting mills.
• Performing maintenance work on machines and workshops.
• Actively contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality-oriented operation of the department.
Outside the campaign period (day shift)
• Performing inspections and preventive maintenance on machine tools, finishing machines, and cutting mills.
• Supporting the maintenance department with mechanical tasks.
• Participating in maintenance projects within production facilities and infrastructure.
• Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to optimization.
ProfileYou are a technically skilled individual who enjoys hands-on work and is energized by solving technical challenges.
What you bring:
• A technical education or relevant experience within a production environment.
• Good knowledge of mechanics and reading blueprints.
• Experience with machine tools is a strong asset.
• Interest in production processes and quality control.
• Proficiency in operating installations via touchscreens.
• Experience with electric pallet trucks, lifting equipment, or similar aids is a plus.
• A hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and a true team spirit.
• Willingness to work in a continuous shift system during the campaign period.
