Job Description

As Production Planner/Work Preparer, you are the link between production, sales, and logistics.
You analyze demand planning and create schedules based on production capacity, requested delivery dates, and logistics.
To achieve this, you are in constant communication with colleagues from different departments to ensure everything runs smoothly and to adjust schedules where necessary. You are therefore often present on the workshop floor.
Additionally, you are responsible for the supply of raw materials and auxiliary materials and maintain contact with suppliers for this purpose.



Tasks and responsibilities:

- Creation of production schedules
You ensure that production schedules are aligned with ongoing orders, production capacity, logistical flow, and other important components, and you always make adjustments where necessary.

- Communication across different departments
You are in constant contact with production, logistics, sales, purchasing, etc., and ensure that everything flows smoothly.

- Supply of raw materials and auxiliary materials
You monitor the consumption of these goods and are in contact with suppliers to maintain the stock at the right level.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365
Our ERP system holds no secrets for you. You are constantly using it to follow up on everything and think about process improvements. The same applies to our production monitoring system Otomes.

You report to the Operations Manager.

Profile
Analytical & Forward-thinking:

- You are analytically strong and always maintain an overview.
- You think ahead and work proactively.
- You have a good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Education & Experience
- You have a diploma in a technical, logistical, or production-oriented field, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience in production planning, work preparation, or supply chain is an asset, not a requirement.
- Motivated starters with drive and willingness to learn are also welcome.

- Experience in a production environment is a plus.
