Production Planner

Function As production planner on the packaging department in Boom, you are responsible for making the translation of orders to production. You are concerned with setting up, coordinating, and adjusting the operational planning. You ensure that raw materials, packaging materials, personnel, and machines come together at the right moment for a smooth and efficient production process. You work closely with your colleagues to look ahead to the coming weeks. You stand in for the production manager in their absence. You are responsible for the daily management of the production process, including the coordination of production orders, the monitoring of production progress, and the identification of potential bottlenecks. You also ensure that the production process is in line with the company's quality and safety policies. You are a team player who can work independently and is able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. You have a strong sense of responsibility and are able to work under pressure. You are fluent in Dutch and have a good understanding of the packaging industry. You have a degree in logistics, production management or a related field. You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You are willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. You are willing to work in a fast-paced environment and are able to adapt to changing circumstances.
