Job description
Required Skills & Experience Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Security Informatics, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and 2 years of experience in the field; OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Security Informatics, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline and 5 years of experience in the field. Required Skills & Experience Expertise in Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, Secure Coding Practices, Compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, and OWASP. Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to: Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, Swift, Go, Rust, Kotlin, TypeScript, PHP, Perl, Scala, Haskell, Lua, MATLAB, Visual Basic, SQL, R, PowerShell, Bash, and/or other relevant languages. Familiarity with cloud-based services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or IBM Cloud. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Red Hat OpenShift. Understanding of DevOps practices, including but not limited to: CI/CD pipelines, continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous monitoring. Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and/or COBIT.
