Aufgaben

As Product Scout, you identify, validate, and sharpen new product opportunities with a focus on AI-driven product innovation.

• Trend- & Marktanalyse: Observation of regulatory, technological, and security-relevant developments (e.g. KI-Governance, Post-Quanten-Kryptografie, EU-Datensouveränität)
• Chancenidentifikation: Exploration of new product possibilities at the interface of communication security, GRC/Compliance, AI, and Productivity ecosystems
• Hypothesenentwicklung: Translation of market and customer signals into concrete, validatable product ideas and strategic opportunity fields
• Discovery & Validierung: Conducting lean discovery processes including customer interviews, problem validation, and proof-of-value approaches
• Business Case Entwicklung: Creation of market analyses, competitor evaluations, and grounded decision-making bases for management
• Technische Bewertung: Review of technical feasibility as well as evaluation of cloud-, SaaS- and AI-architecture approaches
• Architektur & Integration: Development of architecture and integration sketches as a basis for future product development
• Stakeholder Alignment: Close cooperation with Engineering, Architecture, Product, and Leadership to prioritize opportunities
• Kommunikation & Übersetzung: Preparation of technical and regulatory topics in clear business and management language
• Go-to-Market Support: Support for strategic positioning and further development of product-driven growth initiatives

Qualifikation

• Fluent German and English skills

• Minimum 5 years professional experience as Product Manager:in or Product Owner

• In addition, technical depth, e.g. as Solution Architect, Tech Lead, or in a comparable role

• Experience in Discovery, Validierung und Umsetzung of product ideas (e.g. MVPs, PoCs, Business Cases)

• Strong understanding of cloud-, SaaS- and AI-transformation as well as interest in AI-driven product innovation

• Experience with Partner Ökosystemen (e.g. Microsoft, Google)

• Experience with Productinnovation during the transition from On-Premises to Cloud/SaaS architecture and KI.

• Knowledge in at least one focus area: Kommunikationssicherheit, GRC/Compliance or modern Cloud-/AI-Architekturen

• Experience in developing or evaluating products in the field of Datensouveränität oder Security

• Able to translate technical connections into strategic and economic decisions

• Structured, analytical, and at the same time pragmatic working style with high self-responsibility

• Nice to have

• Industry knowledge in Financial Services, Public Sector, KRITIS, Insurance or Healthcare

• Experience with EU regulatory framework (DSGVO, NIS2, DORA, eIDAS)

• Understanding of Product-led Growth or SaaS business models

• Interest in Post-Quanten-Kryptografie and AI Governance topics
