Product Owner / Product Manager (m/f/d) Digital Health

Digital health solutions are changing how people are cared for – safely, user-centrically, and evidence-based. As a Product Owner (m/f/d), you will lead our digital health products from the initial idea to release, ensuring that complex requirements become functional medical or prevention products with real impact. You will work closely with customers, design, development, QA, and project management, taking ownership of concept, prioritization, and product strategy, while actively shaping our internal product management standards.

Responsibilities

• Together with customers and an interdisciplinary team, you will develop a market-ready digital product from a first idea – from discovery through conception to implementation.

• You will independently plan and moderate discovery workshops and formulate clear requirements and product decisions from them.

• During conception, you will develop target group-specific solutions using wireframes and validate them, e.g., through user interviews and user tests.

• You will formulate epics and user stories, define testable acceptance criteria, prioritize backlogs, assess effort together with the development team, perform acceptance, and accompany the implementation.

• You will coordinate the design and software architecture in consultation with customers and other stakeholders.

• Together with project management, you will plan implementation regarding timeline and budget and coordinate the required efforts within the team.

• You will plan and accompany go-lives and be responsible for store releases.

• You will document the feature scope in accordance with regulatory requirements according to ISO 13485 / IEC 62304.

• Beyond individual projects, you will contribute to developing methods, processes, and our internal product management practice, ensure the use of AI tools in relevant areas of your work, share knowledge, and actively think about interfaces and structures.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience (at least 3 years) in agile product development of digital solutions – ideally as a Product Manager, Product Owner, UI/UX Designer, or Concept Developer in the digital health environment.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., digital health applications, medical devices, ISO 13485 / IEC 62304).

• Very good knowledge of UX-related methods such as Design Thinking, user interviews, or discovery formats.

• You analyze problems structurally, derive clear requirements from them, and develop viable concepts and solution approaches.

• A very good technical understanding and preferably experience in meaningfully integrating AI technologies into products.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to defend decisions, lead stakeholders, and bring together different perspectives.

• In addition to technical aspects, you also consider economic factors and are not hesitant to keep an eye on project controlling with the project managers.

• You feel comfortable in a dynamic environment.

• You communicate fluently in German and English.
