Job Description

As Product Owner Internal Automation & IT, you are the indispensable bridge between the business and our IT landscape. You gather the wishes and requirements from various departments and the Management Team, and translate them into smart, efficient automations. Where others see a complex process, you see an opportunity to make things happen faster, better, and smoother.

In this role, you will interact extensively with internal stakeholders to truly understand processes. Subsequently, you will determine how to optimally utilize our tools, including our ERP system Odoo and Camunda. You will work closely with our Application Manager, who handles the functional management, and our Camunda/Python Developer. Because our developer also runs their own projects, it is fantastic if you speak the language of developers yourself or can even write your own Python code to quickly build or test something.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and mapping requirements from various departments and the MT layer.

• Translating business processes and wishes into concrete automation solutions.

• Managing, prioritizing, and structuring the internal IT backlog.

• Collaborating with the internal Camunda/Python developer and the Application Manager to deliver projects successfully and smoothly.

• Advising the business on process optimizations and new automation opportunities.

• Ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of new functionalities on the work floor.

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree level of thinking and working, and a strong interest in IT and business processes.

• You are communicatively skilled, easily approach people, and can effectively interact with both business and technical colleagues.

• You understand how business processes work and are genuinely enthusiastic about automating them.

• You have (basic) knowledge of Python; it's a significant bonus if you can occasionally write some code yourself.

• You preferably have knowledge of or interest in ERP systems (such as Odoo).

• You are analytical, curious, and enjoy taking charge to bring projects from wish to reality.

• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
