To strengthen our expert team at our customer from the radio and communication industry, we're looking for a Product Owner (m/w/x) for Radar Systemsoftware in a permanent position at K-tronik. We're looking forward to getting to know you personally - and working together with passion and team spirit on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Tasks:

  • Join a great team of technology enthusiasts and work from Lisbon as a Kiel-Onsite-Liaison. - Definition and clear communication of the product vision for software for military maritime radar signal analysis - Prioritization of the team backlog and coordination of daily collaboration between developers, tech leads, QA, and stakeholders - Planning and maintenance of roadmaps and story maps, showing dependencies and steering incremental value delivery in 3-month iteration cycles - Promotion of close cross-location collaboration with neighboring development teams and product owners to align priorities and eliminate obstacles - Leadership of measures to modernize legacy systems (breaking down monolithic architectures) in close cooperation with tech leads - Function as an on-site contact in Kiel for the external delivery team in Portugal; travel to Portugal approximately once per quarter to every two quarters

Qualifications:

  • Several years of practical experience in software development in agile environments - Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role with responsibility for backlog prioritization and release planning - Excellent track record in team-wide collaboration and close alignment with product managers and distributed teams - Practical experience in modernizing legacy systems and cooperating with software architects in breaking down monolithic architectures - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, make dependencies transparent, and communicate risks clearly - Secure handling of Confluence, Jira, MS Office, and Teams; knowledge of DOORS or Jazz is an asset - Confident English; German is an asset; willingness to regular business trips to Portugal
