Behind the Carhartt WIP brand stands the WIP Trading AG. Our Swiss company group started in the early 1990s as a licensing partner and European distributor for the US-based workwear manufacturer Carhartt. Since then, WIP has developed its own Carhartt WIP collections based on American originals.

Aufgaben

As Product Owner PIM, you are responsible for our Product Information Management (PIM) system as a core product within our trading and data landscape. You ensure that product information is structured, consistent, and scalable so that it can be used reliably in our webshop, app, and other connected systems.

You work closely with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to continuously develop the PIM as a product and align it with long-term business requirements.

Responsibility for the PIM as a product, including vision, roadmap, and prioritization

• Continuous development of data models and attribute logic
• Definition of standards for product data, variants, categories, and localization
• Surety of a stable and scalable data architecture for international markets
• Design and prioritization of product requirements for the PIM in close cooperation with business and technical stakeholders
• Closely working with technology to ensure a common understanding of requirements and sustainable implementation
• Responsibility for product data interfaces and integrations throughout the PIM and connected systems
• Surety of a reliable, scalable, and maintainable PIM product that supports long-term business requirements
• Function as central product contact person for PIM-related topics

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience as Product Owner or in a comparable product function
• Fundamental knowledge of product data structures, data models, and system landscapes
• Experience with complex integrations
• Able to implement business requirements into sustainable product solutions
• Experience in agile product environments
• Knowledge of PIM systems (e.g. Akeneo, Pimcore, Inriver or similar)
• Background in E-Commerce, ideally in the fashion or lifestyle sectors and international or multilingual environments
