Product Owner (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the development process of software solutions in conjunction with entrance controls, cash solutions, and other primarily mobile applications for the Online-Ticketing area of events. As the key to the success of our products, you will ensure that they deliver high value to our customers as well as internal stakeholders, such as our Business Support or Entry Management. You will have the freedom to develop your own product vision, discuss it with your cross-functional team, and take responsibility for planning and final implementation. Ideally, we would like to see you regularly in the office.

We are an innovative company in the ticketing and event industry. We process long-standing experiences from the event, leisure, sports, and trade fair sectors with the best technology to create an intuitive software solution. Since 2014, around 80 employees have been working with great enthusiasm to ensure a smooth workflow before, during, and after an event.

Aufgaben

• You will delve into the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders in depth and develop high-quality product solutions.
• You will develop a long-term vision for the product and communicate progress openly and transparently.
• You will develop new concepts and process flows with your colleagues for innovations and features.
• You will take over the management of App Store and Play Store processes and coordinate new releases of our apps.
• You will keep track of market trends and developments by our competitors, ensuring that our product remains competitive.
• You will work both independently and closely with your team: You define what needs to be done and let the team decide how to do it - within our high quality standards.
• You will support the management of team work according to Scrum and planning of our mostly 14-day sprints.
• You will create test plans and protocols for new and existing products, as well as conduct manual testing.
• You will take over the management, description, and prioritization of items in the product backlog, as well as document project-related topics.

Qualifikation

• You have a successfully completed education or degree in the field of business informatics, -science, computer science, or comparable, with a good understanding of technical requirements.
• You have at least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner (m/w/d) or comparable and with the application of agile working methods, ideally in the E-Commerce/Event Management sector.
• Your excellent communication skills help you manage stakeholders: You can clearly communicate complex issues and easily agree on matters with different conversation partners.
• You have experience with App Store and Play Store and are familiar with the specifics of mobile applications.
• You have strong analytical skills and technical understanding: You are able to analyze market trends and understand technical solutions.
• You are proactive, can work independently, and make decisions. You take responsibility for your area and look beyond the horizon to deliver a valuable result.
• You are a team player and understand how to inspire and motivate the development team, as well as approach challenges in a solution-oriented manner.
• You bring a high affinity to new technologies and are eager to explore the potential of AI and integrate it into our product development.
