Product Owner (Marktplatz & Plattform) (m/w/d)

Speekly is the largest marketplace for Creator Content in Europe. We work with 100,000+ Creators and 12,000+ Brands together and build the Operating System for Social Content. We are a rapidly growing start-up with over €6 million in VC funding.

Our goal: We're building an Operating System to match Brands that need content with Creators who produce it. Automatically, scalable, fast.  

What we're looking for:

We're looking for a hands-on person who ensures our Engineering Team is focused, quick, and clean – with clear tickets, good process, and attention to detail.

You'll work closely with Engineering and our Customer-facing Units, can quickly process information, and won't give up until a feature is really good.

What you'll do:

You'll take responsibility for our marketplace as Product:

• You develop and maintain the product roadmap – with clear prioritization (RICE, MoSCoW) and a strategy that accounts for growth

• You write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and work closely with Engineering to bring features to life

• You break down complex projects into concrete, actionable steps – before Engineering starts. You think about dependencies, recognize where something's stuck, and ensure projects are really completed

• You recognize when the Engineering Team is blocked – and solve the problem, even if the solution lies outside the code. Open questions, missing info, unclear requirements: that lands with you, not the team

• You ensure features work before launch – you coordinate testing, check acceptance criteria, and only give the green light when quality is met

• You regularly speak with those who use the software daily – our team, Brands, and Creators – to understand what's really missing, what's annoying, what they love

• You moderate Sprint Planning, Refinements, and Retros – and ensure the team stays focused and quick

👉 At the end, you're responsible for making our product better – measurable, tangible, fast.

What to bring:

• Experience in product management or as Product Owner, ideally in a B2B or marketplace context

• You can prioritize roadmaps and have used frameworks like RICE or MoSCoW – not just heard of them

• You can break down complex requirements into structured steps and know how to set up a project so it really gets finished

• You communicate clearly with Engineering and can precisely formulate technical requirements

• You can keep a Dev Team productive and focused by identifying friction points and hurdles, and fixing them

• You work in Scrum or Kanban and know how to write good user stories (with real acceptance criteria)

• You have a basic understanding of APIs, system architecture, and how software is built

What you'll get:
