Product Owner / Manager – DEXIOS SaaS Platform (m/f/d)

___________________________________________________________________________ DEXIOS is our cloud platform for access control, access management, and time recording. The software is live, it is still young, and it is now at the point where a functioning product is becoming a scalable SaaS solution. You will take product responsibility for this journey: You decide what is built, in what order, and why. You will work closely with development, with the backlog in GitHub, and with architecture discussions, and you will be responsible for the roadmap to management, sales, marketing, the project team, and support. In this role, you have a lot of creative freedom: If you prefer to shape a product from the inside for the next few years rather than manage a finished one - read on! Your Tasks PRODUCT – Roadmap and Prioritization * You are responsible for the DEXIOS roadmap and continuously decide which topics are important now and which can wait * You prioritize based on benefit, effort, and market opportunity, and can justify your decisions to management, sales, and customers * You define requirements in a way that they are implementable: User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, sensible release sizes * You maintain the backlog in GitHub and work directly with the development team in a sprint rhythm TECHNOLOGY – Architecture and System Logic * You understand how DEXIOS works: multi-tenancy, role and permission models, authorization logic, IAM integration via OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, connectors to Entra ID, SAP, and HR systems * You discuss feasibility, dependencies, and technical debt with development and SW architecture on equal footing and enjoy proactively moderating the process to find a solution * Writing code is not part of it - but the logic behind the system interests you, and you know it well enough for your prioritization to be effective UX – How People Work with DEXIOS (and in the future with AI) * You have a stance on how frontends are changing through AI: What remains a click path, what becomes a dialogue, what runs automatically in the background? * You contribute to a positive user experience: How do security officers, HR employees, or plant security manage with the system, today and in three years? * The design foundations of DEXIOS are established. You work with them, further develop them, and create the specifications for user flows up to operating logic AI – in the role and in the product * You use AI in your daily work: prototypes, user stories, analyses, backlog preparation, consolidating customer feedback * You build prototypes yourself instead of waiting for capacity. A clickable prototype in two hours gets us further than a theoretical concept in two weeks * You contribute your perspective on where AI creates real value in the product and where it would just be an add-on TEAM – Interfaces * You proactively approach colleagues, foster regular dialogue, and ensure that requirements, priorities, and decisions are understandable for all stakeholders * You gather feedback from customers and support requests and translate them into product decisions * You attend customer appointments when it is helpful and are regularly on-site in Munich, because good decisions are usually made through conversation PROFILE – Your Skillset * You have several years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager (m/f/d) for a software product, including at least two years with genuine ownership – you were responsible for the software or SaaS product and guided it through relevant maturity phases. * Cloud and SaaS architectures, APIs, and data models are familiar to you: You can read an interface description without someone explaining it to you * AI is part of your working method, not a point on your skill list. You can concretely explain what you last used it for, and also when it gave you incorrect advice * You communicate and negotiate confidently in German and English and have an awareness of information security (ISO 27001) What this role is not * No ticket writing according to someone else's specifications. The roadmap comes from you * No pure strategy role with slides. You work in the sprint * No Scrum Master job. Process maintenance is not the core * No finished product with finished processes.
