With 75 employees, IT&I GmbH is a Berlin-Mitte-based company for software development and consulting. We develop and operate tailor-made software applications for the energy industry. In doing so, we support our clients in implementing IT requirements in a dynamic environment shaped by the energy transition using agile methods.

To strengthen our team in Berlin, we are looking for a Product Owner *in Software Development (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

What You Do With Us

• You take on the functional and organizational responsibility for challenging IT projects in the environment of modern cloud and software solutions
• You work closely with our clients, understand their functional requirements, and translate them into implementable solutions for the development teams
• You prioritize requirements, define user stories, and accompany the implementation as a central interface between the business unit, client, and development
• You manage the development of service-oriented and API-based applications and accompany the transformation of existing on-premises solutions towards scalable cloud architectures
• You coordinate the collaboration of all project participants, make functional decisions, and ensure transparency regarding progress, risks, and dependencies
• You plan and organize tests, quality assurance measures, and functional and technical acceptances
• You analyze existing processes and systems, identify optimization potential, and develop sustainable solutions together with the client
• You evaluate project and operational data, create reports, and derive well-founded recommendations for action for stakeholders and project teams

What You Ideally Bring

• Several years of experience in managing complex IT or software development projects
• Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, or in a comparable role.
• A good understanding of modern software architectures, especially in the context of cloud platforms, APIs, and service-oriented system landscapes
• The ability to structure, prioritize, and prepare functional requirements in a way that is understandable for development teams.
• Experience in collaborating with development teams and various stakeholders at the functional and management level
• Analytical thinking as well as experience in creating and interpreting reports and evaluations.
• An independent way of working, strong communication skills, and the ability to convey complex contexts understandably
• You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
