Product Owner for Internal Developer Platform (IDP) (m/w/d)

PRODUCT OWNER for Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for the main department Information Technology and Network, published on 11/12/2025 The ORF shapes as a leading media company in Austria its digital presence by developing an internal developer platform (IDP). This platform is intended to support the development of innovative applications and services within the organization. As PRODUCT OWNER, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, working closely with stakeholders, developers, and other teams to ensure that the IDP meets the needs of its users. Your tasks will include: • Defining and prioritizing the product backlog based on business goals and user needs • Collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and other teams to ensure that the IDP meets the needs of its users • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the IDP's features, functionalities, and technical requirements • Ensuring that the IDP is aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and obstacles in the development process • Providing regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the IDP project • Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives • Ensuring that the IDP is developed with a focus on quality, security, and scalability • Collaborating with other teams to ensure that the IDP integrates seamlessly with existing systems and processes • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed • Providing training and support to users of the IDP • Ensuring that the IDP is compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g. computer science, information technology) • At least 3 years of experience as a product owner or in a similar role • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with JIRA or other project management tools • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure) • Certification in Scrum Master or Product Owner would be an advantage Benefits: • Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that has the potential to shape the future of media consumption • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced professionals • Flexible working hours and remote work options • Comprehensive training and support for professional development • Access to state-of-the-art technology and tools • Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company
