Aufgaben

• Responsibility for the definition and continuous further development of the product strategy and roadmap of the Data-Platform
• Steering, prioritization, and maintenance of the Product Backlogs under consideration of professional requirements, technical feasibility, and company goals
• Closely working with Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Science, BI-Teams, and departments to implement data-driven application scenarios
• Ensuring a stable, scalable, and secure Data Platform in compliance with governance, quality, and compliance guidelines
• Coordination of the implementation of data connections, transformation processes, semantic data models, and reporting solutions
• Defining suitable performance indicators for measuring the platform's success as well as continuous monitoring
• Active stakeholder management with transparent communication regarding requirements, priorities, and progress
• Fostering self-service analytics and strengthening data literacy within the company

Qualifikation

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in a product ownership role in the Data- or Analytics-field
• Good understanding of modern data architectures (e.g. Lakehouse- or Warehouse-concepts, data pipelines, real-time processing)
• Fundamental knowledge in handling BI- and analytics-tools, particularly in areas such as data modeling, calculation logic, data preparation, and structured deployment processes
• Experience in the field of Data Governance, security concepts, and role-based access systems
• Praxis in building, developing or operating a company-wide data platform, ideally in the Microsoft technology environment MS Fabric
• Experience in working with interdisciplinary teams at the interface between IT and departments
• Structured, analytical, and independent work style as well as excellent communication skills
